Campisa loading bays: behind the scenes of the design
To tell you about this new article from the Campisa blog, we went inside our design offices to ask our loading dock technicians directly, how a project for setting up a logistics hub is born .
We then asked about the design phases from contact to final installation of the loading points.
Here are all the answers.
HOW IS A CAMPISA LOADING BAY BORN? OUR TECHNICAL TEAM TELLS US ABOUT IT
Once contact has been established with the customer, generally large general contactors who are project contractors, our sales team goes to the construction site to outline a general project which will subsequently be developed by the Campisa Project Assistant.
From this moment on, the entire production process of the loading docks kicks off.
Our technical team of designers begins with the development of drafts and project proposals together with the customer, up to the achievement of the final solution.
Thanks to the latest generation software, the design office creates sketches, tables, drawings and prototypes of ramps, doors, sealants and accessories to achieve the customer’s desired goal, before starting the production process.
HOW ARE LOADING DOCK EQUIPMENT PRODUCED? WORKSHOP DOORS OPEN!
The production department is the beating heart of Campisa.
Our expert professionals interact with cutting-edge robots, technological welding machines, robotic painting systems and advanced material handling systems.
The loading and unloading ramps and the hydraulic platforms are entirely produced within our over 14,000 square meters of production departments. A qualified and experienced team carefully follows all the production stages to ensure the highest quality products.
Each product is finally tested before being shipped to the final customer. At this stage, the goal is to ensure maximum quality and safety of use.
THE CAMPISA LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT
To conclude the production cycle of loading bay components, we went to the Campisa logistics office. In this department, our logistics personnel are responsible for organizing and managing all product shipments, both in Italy and abroad.
Our logistics network guarantees us a continuous international flow and in this way we are able to respect the times agreed upon during the purchase phase.
LOADING BAYS: THE PREPARATION OF THE LOGISTICS HUB
To tell you about the last phase, we asked our fitters who explained to us how the loading points are set up in the logistics hubs.
After preparing the site and the related arrangements to accommodate the loading bays, the Campisa material reaches its destination.
From this moment, the fitters are engaged in the assembly of all the equipment: loading ramps, sealants, industrial doors and all safety accessories.
The objective of the Campisa fitters is to complete the work on time, allowing the logistics center to be operational as soon as possible.
Once the installation works for the inlets and the relative accessories have been completed, each component is ready to be used immediately and with maximum simplicity and safety.
