Campisadoor spring balanced sectional door

Sectional insulating doors, 40 mm thick, balancing with torsion springs.

The insulating counterbalanced sectional door with springs is manufactured up to 7500 mm x 5560 mm. The classic dimension of loading docks is 2.5 m wide by 3 m high; spring balanced doors for this dimension, open and close manually with minimal effort. The opening of the spring balanced sectional doors can be helped by a reduction winch.

The spring balanced sectional door is an ideal system for opening and closing without engaging the side spaces. The door can be opened by hand, thanks to the neutral equilibrium provided by the torsion springs which balance the weight of the door in any position of the stroke.

Periodic maintenance (on average two – three times a year) is necessary to load the springs and maintain neutral balance in each position. If the door loses its balance, the opening does not remain in the completely open position, with the risk of breaking the lower panel due to possible collision with the lifting trolleys

DOOR ELEMENTS

The insulating sectional doors are complete with: curtain, vertical sliding guides and a counterbalancing spring assembly.

THE COVER

The mantle can be equipped with one or more portholes placed at a man’s height to be able to control the maneuvers that take place outside.

PANELS are made by insulated sandwich panes with pre-galvanized, pre-painted sheets on both sides and internal ecological polyurethane foam, CFC-free. The panels are hinged together and, can turn horizontally under the ceiling if requested.

THE MANTLE can be equipped with one or more portholes placed at man’s height in order to control the maneuvers outside. The lower panel is equipped with a floor seal, while the upper panel is fitted with a seal pressing against the wall. The whole mantle, when lifting, comes slightly off the walls and when closed it adheres to the side anti-wind seals. The standard color of the door is white RAL 9002, recommended for its brightness.

THE SLIDING GUIDES are applied laterally to the jambs of the opening and continue upwards or turn under the ceiling.

THE SPRING UNIT is complete with a shaft housed to two suitable flanges, in which two cable-winding drums are also housed. One or more springs are positioned onto the shaft and are including a brake system protecting the spring wire in case of failure.

In compliance with the provisions of EN 12341, insulating sectional doors are equipped with:

• Finger protection between the panels, when doors turn horizontally below 2.5 meters in height;
• 2 brakes for the lifting cables;
• brakes for the balancing springs in case of doors with two springs or more;
